Description
There is a famous building called “The Chrysler Building” in the vanishing point in the distance and this gives an instant impression of the New York City along with cultural significance. Behind and above the small-sized silhouettes, there are two enormous semi-transparent figures of humans and this suggests a ghostlike presence that controls the entire city. The most exciting element used in the composition is the vibrant red color accents that bleed and emanate from the bodies of the gigantic figures as a symbol of wounds, warnings, or corrupted data. It creates immense visual excitement against the dull background colors of black and white. The style of this piece of art is extremely unique and blends architectural illustration using pencils, surreal scale, and graphic novels to give a masterpiece of fine art. The meticulously crafted perspective grid of the urban landscape makes the viewer feel that he is dealing with an infinite, all-encompassing urban reality – the world of rigid geometry where people are turned into tiny chess-like pieces. From the thematic point of view, the poster deals effectively with the motifs of corporate power, surveillance capitalism, alienation of the urban life, and “invisible giants” that rule the modern world without being seen. The poster is perfect for the professionals, architects, urbanists, fans of noir novels and conspiracy theories and everyone who enjoys art with strong social message and aesthetically pleasing design. Regarding interior design, the poster will be the best choice for a stylish environment with high contrasts – a corporate office, home library, premium home studio or even living room with dark walls, leather furniture and proper lighting that will help red accents to shine. The poster will make the perfect statement above the desk, fireplace or sofa.
