Description
with three joyous red hearts swirling merrily around it against a soft sky blue background that beautifully encapsulates the serene and dream-like ambiance of the ideal lazy day out on the waters. The illustration is created using an exceptionally expressive clean-line kawaii comic style that merges the use of bold and confident outlines inspired by the old-school cartoons with soft color fills, textures of the wooden boat planks and water ripple effects resulting in the creation of a highly appealing and polished illustration that looks like it can be printed. This specific interpretation of the baby dinosaur fishing illustration possesses significantly more graphic nature than the softer painted ones thanks to the clean black lines and vibrant flat colors combined with comic-book linework. The color scheme is wonderful, with the light green and lime greens of the round little dinosaur complementing perfectly the coral red of the wooden boat, bright red hearts, and gentle pale blue of the water and sky, thus resulting in a color scheme that is both striking enough to attract attention and soothing enough to make one feel truly relaxed and at peace. Such canvas will be an excellent decoration for nurseries, rooms of toddlers, and playrooms for young children, whose imagination and feelings can be stimulated by the cute little dinosaur, happy heart motives, and relaxing image of the fishing boat. With the red hearts all over the dinosaur, the canvas has got a particularly Valentine’s Day touch and makes for an extremely sweet and touching gift for baby showers, first birthdays, and other occasions that celebrate the birth of a wonderful new little being. The coral red colored boat in this particular incarnation of the painting is especially well matched color wise with the lime green dinosaur and the blue background, giving it an appealing retro look of the mid century modern color palette, which is perfect for discerning parents who love stylish kids’ art work. The compact size 10×10 inch square shaped canvas will fit beautifully in any smaller nursery setting as well as a shelf display, a night table, or even a gallery wall featuring multiple other dinosaur or nature themed kid paintings. The fact that this piece is stretched canvas gives it extra physical depth and premium gallery quality, something not achievable with regular posters, adding value and premium feel to this lovely illustration. With its bright color palette, beautiful line clarity, and the premium touch and feel of a professionally framed canvas this little gem of a painting is destined to bring a lot of joy and pleasure to kids and their parents in years to come.
