Description
The doves have been painted with such extraordinary painterly attention to details as the doves’ feathering that includes colors such as pure white and soft ice blue and long flowing tail feathers. The doves look as if they have come straight from mythology and legend, so graceful and perfect and beautiful that they transcend being just beautiful birds into something even more magical and spiritual in nature. The doves’ eyes have been painted with a great deal of expressiveness as the bright and dark eyes have been surrounded with blue facial marking and a soft pink beak. In addition, there is a blooming branch of flowers that have been painted in classical oil painting technique – it is decorated with blooming white apple blossoms and deep sage green leaves that form an arch around the main picture. There are also hanging clusters of small white blossoms similar to wisteria. The background consists of a wonderful textured abstract wash of colors steel blue, silver and mist gray painted in visible strokes and giving the artwork the unique, realistic character of a hand painted picture and adding a lot of artistic value to it. The artistic style harmoniously combines romantic realism with decorative painterly illustration based on the traditions of Russian academic paintings, botanical illustration and romantic fine art and giving the artwork its timeless classical character and fresh contemporariness. The atmosphere of the poster is entirely romantic – spring, renewal, devotion, the eternal beauty of love represented by the nature. It is universally recognizable and understandable for people all over the world, no matter of their culture and generation. This poster is ideal for romantics, nature lovers, newlyweds and everybody who loves art that brings warm feeling, beauty and harmonious atmosphere to the interior. As for the interior design the poster should be placed in elegant interiors – master bedroom decorated with ivory or dusty blue linen, romantic living room decorated with botanical illustrations and natural lighting, wedding place or bridal suite.
