Description
This poster is brilliantly crafted from a worm’s eye view of looking up through a ring of rich green grass and daisies into the blue sky that is dotted with clouds, with the kittens all around the ring looking down at us in amazement, caution, and even boldness in their expressions. There are different characteristics for each of these cute cats – one is a fluffed up gray and white kitten with the look of bold curiosity, one is a beautiful orange and white kitten with startlingly blue eyes looking sideways, one is a cute tabby kitten with a startled, slightly maniac expression, and one is a sweet gray tabby cat looking down with wide, wondering eyes. The white daisy ring surrounding the circular composition is painted in delightful botanical realism – each flower rendered with clarity and freshness against the bright green grass – forming a natural frame of summer wildflower charm that adds a delightful, meadow-fresh feel to this image, akin to the best of contemporary animal greeting card artwork on fine art poster scale. The artistic technique is hyper-realistic digital animal portraits mixed with whimsical compositional fantasy – the detail of the individual kitten fur is done in exceptional clarity, whiskers and fluffy tufts of fur shown precisely, while the concept of kittens peeking out from the daisy framed sky portal is pure imaginative magic of children’s illustration fantasy. The color palette used here is delightful and summery – vivid blue of the sky, bright green grass, pristine white daisies and orange/tabby gray of the kitten fur – an excellent choice of clean, pure colors that instantly brings brightness, freshness and happiness to wherever it’s put. The tiny 10×10 inch square size makes this one of the most practical artworks in any collection – ideal for gallery walls, gifting or display in smaller spaces that cost almost nothing in framing. It is obvious that this poster is absolutely appropriate for people who love cats, regardless of their age; those who appreciate nature, people who cannot resist the cuteness of kittens (that is virtually everybody), interior designers searching for light, funny, universally appealing accent pieces. As a part of the interior design, it can successfully be used in light, casual and happy places such as kitchen with white tiles and plant accents, kids’ bedroom or playroom, office which needs some daily mood enhancement, living room of a cat owner, veterinary clinic or pet care facility waiting room or any other room where the main purpose is to make people smile right when they enter the room. Funny, extremely technical in terms of kitten portrait creation, compositional innovative and having the quality which is considered to be a rarest and precious one for any piece of art – the ability to cause involuntary smile in absolutely everybody who sees this picture – the daisy-crowned kitten poster is a little square of pure happiness which can occupy its place in any room because it succeeds in doing what art should always try to achieve – making the world better for one moment.
