Description
Paper Poster. No Frame. No Canvas.
The girl is holding a big vibrant red umbrella in her hands, which is protecting her from falling drops. Sitting next to her there is a sleek black cat with big curious eyes. This charming duo is situated on the picturesque meadow full of bright yellow flowers, which occupy the lower part of the poster. The background is painted in warm golden color. Despite the fact that the day is rainy, the scene radiates coziness and magic thanks to the warm light. There are also some bare tree branches seen in the top left part of the picture, which add natural element to the whole painting. As for the artistic technique used in this work, I would say that it reminds folk paintings or children’s books illustrations. It can be seen from the texture of brushstrokes used by the artist. The strong contrast between bright yellow, deep red and black colors makes this poster cheerful and touching.
